THE HEAT IS ON, the next Stroud Short Stories event, opens for submissions on 16 August 2026

With a theme of HEAT or HOT, the next Stroud Short Stories event, THE HEAT IS ON, opens for submissions on Sunday 16 August and closes on Sunday 27 September.

The event takes place on Sunday 8 November at 7.30 pm (doors 7.00) at the Lansdown Hall in Stroud as part of the brilliant Stroud Book Festival 2026.

8-10 stories will be selected for their authors to read.

Tickets, priced at £12, will be available from the Lansdown Hall website from Friday 9 October.
